I didn't see this coming ...
Heading into our SunRiver trip, I was frazzled and stressed. We watched a sweet Hallmark movie that made me want to cry. The week unfolded with pickleball, snowshoeing, and wildlife sightings. Then on Friday, on a cute little bridge during a bike ride, Kevin stopped. He told me he loved me, showed me a wooden heart ring he'd made, and asked if I would marry him. Terrified and overwhelmed, I told him we had a lot to talk about first. Then I painted him a Yes painting and made it official.
Calm Your Overwhelm Series
Calming your fear and overwhelm may have become part of your daily routine. Winter typically calls us to cozy in and tend to our deeper nourishment, our dreams and fears—the deep waters within. This 4-week series shares self-nourishment practices through daily emails, Monday through Friday. Each takes about 2-3 minutes to read and 10-15 minutes to practice. This class is currently not available, but if you'd love me to offer it again, let me know!
Oh Those Critters
What did happen though was that the wild animals came closer and into our lives. I first really noticed it when I was outside in the garden, singing, one day.
